Air Peace Celebrates Children’s Day with Inclusive Support for Underserved, Disabled Kids

Air Peace marks Children’s Day 2025 by celebrating children from underserved communities and those living with disabilities through two major events.

Nigeria’s leading airline, Air Peace, marked Children’s Day 2025 by supporting two events aimed at celebrating all children, including those from underserved communities and those living with disabilities.

The airline sponsored 40 children to attend the Parkland Amusement Center Children’s Fiesta in Lagos, a fun-filled event that brought together children from various underprivileged schools. Alongside other notable brands, Air Peace contributed to a day of games, activities, and shared joy for the children in attendance.

On the same day, the airline also supported Raising Star’s This Ability 4.0, held at The Darlington Hall in Ilupeju, Lagos. The event, with the theme “Empowering Every Voice,” focused on children living with disabilities and featured an art exhibition, talent and dance competitions, and seminars for parents, educators, and advocates. Financial support was also given to youth-led businesses and young adults with disabilities.

Air Peace presented a cash prize to the winner of the talent competition and delivered a goodwill message reaffirming its commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities for all children.

Prominent dignitaries such as Lagos State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Mr. Mobolaji Ogunlende, and actress Juliana Olayode were in attendance, alongside high-standing brands including the Aliko Dangote Foundation, MILO, BIC Nigeria, IHS, NNPC, Supreme Foods, and Maltina.

Speaking on behalf of the airline, Mr. Ikenna Nnabuife, Head of Marketing, said, “We believe every child, regardless of background or ability, has value. Our support for these events is a reflection of that belief.”

Although not physically present, Air Peace Chairman, Dr. Allen Ifechukwu Onyema, shared a statement emphasising the importance of investing in children’s wellbeing and inclusion. “Children are the soul of any nation’s future. At Air Peace, we are committed to uplifting all children and ensuring none feel invisible,” he said.

By participating in both mainstream and inclusive celebrations, Air Peace reinforced its commitment to social responsibility and equal representation for all Nigerian children.
